Conference:
5 – 8 October 2026
The 9th International Conference on Memristive Materials, Devices & Systems (MEMRISYS 2026) will take place at the conference center darmstadtium, Darmstadt, Germany from 5 to 8 October 2026.
As the cornerstone of today’s rapid advances in artificial intelligence (AI), the electronics landscape is undergoing swift transformation. Memristor technologies, including memristive, memcapacitive, and meminductive nanodevices, are emerging and thriving as pillars of innovation, heralding the dawn of a new era in sensing, processing and information storage. By transcending the limitations of purely CMOS-based integrated circuits, they are poised to foster groundbreaking developments in hybrid, unconventional computing machines, paving the way for future intelligence in the More-than-Moore era.
MEMRISYS 2026 will be held in person. We look forward to your arrival in Darmstadt — join us for another unforgettable experience in the MEMRISYS conference series!
MEMRISYS 2026 will delve into the forefront of memristor technologies, highlighting the employment of the latest AI to accelerate memristor technologies and, in turn, scalable and energy-efficient computing paradigms and systems fueled by memristors’ diverse features. Specifically, discussions will encompass a wide variety of related themes:
We are happy to announce the exciting opportunity to submit your research to a joint special issue of Advanced Electronic Materials and Advanced Physics Research after the conference. Manuscripts considered for this special issue will be evaluated using the same high standards as regular submissions: we aim for this to be a top-quality selection of the very best research in the field. Accepted papers will be published online as soon as possible and collected into a virtual collection gathering contributions from both journals, which will be released within the year 2027.
As is Memrisys tradition, we are looking forward to the exchange with guests from Wiley, Springer Nature and IOP.
Confirmed panellists:
Gaia Tomasello, Advanced Electronic Materials
Matthew Parker, Nature Electronics
Wei Fan, Nature Materials
Ian Forbes, Neuromorphic Computing and Engineering
